Corona update November 28th

Since Sunday, November 28, nationwide stricter corona measures apply. At least until December 19, the LocHal Library  is closed in the evening - at 17.00 the doors close. 

During the day the LocHal Library is open to everyone. You do not need to show a corona access QR-code at the entrance. Wearing a mouth mask is mandatory if you are 13 years or older.

If you visit the StadsCafé, you will need a corona access QR code.


Basic rules for a library visit

Together, we make sure the Library is a safe and enjoyable place for everyone. That's why we call your attention to these house rules: 

  • Do not come to the Library if you have a cold or flu symptoms. 
  • Wear a mouth mask if you are 13 years old or older. 
  • Stay at least 1.5 metres away from other people.

Working and meeting

You can use the work and study places in the Library LocHal. Reservations in advance are no longer necessary for most workplaces.  

Would you like to use a study booth or a workstation with computer? Then you do need to make a reservation in advance. 


Seats2meet is completely open for meetings, trainings, conferences and workplaces for entrepreneurs. Please contact us for the possibilities.  

Coronacheck at the StadsCafé

The StadsCafé is open to all visitors. You can order there at the bar. A corona admission ticket is: 

  • not necessary if you want to take away something or sit on the terrace 
  • needed when sitting inside 

If you want to sit at one of the tables inside the StadsCafé, you need a QR code or paper corona ticket.
